One of our favorite bands paired with one of our favorite callers!  Tunescape is Tim Ball on fiddle, Rachel Bell on accordion, Jodi Austen on keyboard, Nadine Dyskant-Miller on flute, and Peter Blue on nykelharpa, button accordion  and all manner of percussion instruments.  Caller Sarah Van Norstrand, is rapidly becoming known for her great dances and clear teaching.

Wow!  This Vermont-based band is on a spring tour and we’re excited to have them play for our dance.  Viveka Fox on fiddle, bodhran & djembe, Rick Klein on guitar, Peter Macfarlane on fiddle and whistle, and Brian Perkins on mandolin, banjo, bouzouki, cornet and foot percussion.  There will be excellent dances by one of our favorite Ithaca callers, Katy Heine.

Here is your chance to  practice dances that will be done at the May 2 Ball.  Strongly recommended if  you dance infrequently or are a newcomer to English dancing, and helpful to anyone going to the Ball.  Sunday afternoons 3:30 – 5 pm at the Friends Meeting House.
