Schedule   Jane Austen Ball   Classes  Links   Directions

Country Dancers of Rochester sponsors regular English Country dances year-round, and puts on a Regency style Ball each Spring. The regular dances are on the first and third Sundays of the month (with occasional exceptions), 6:30 - 9:30 pm, in the beautiful wood-floored Community Room of the Friends Meeting House, downtown at 84 Scio St., Rochester, NY. Here is a bit more about English Country Dancing.

Admission is $8 ($7 for CDR or CDSS members, with another $1 off for students, no charge for 17 or under). We always have live music and tempting refreshments at a mid-dance break. Except for dances marked 'experienced', newcomers are always welcome. Occasionally we run a series of classes designed to introduce newcomers to English dancing. For more information (or to get on our mailing list or e-mail list), call Richard Sauvain at (585) 442-4681 or e-mail him.
