Friday, November 27, 2009 - Contra Dance

Because Thanksgiving is always on a Thursday and we miss our regular dance, we have scheduled a festival for the last 26 years on the Friday and Saturday following Thanksgiving. This year, we start off at 8 pm Friday night with a big contra dance going on in the gym at Salem United Church 60 Bittner Street, AND a wonderful English Country dance upstairs at the same location. Workshops and dancing start at 10 am on Saturday; plan on staying all day to enjoy the free buffet lunch. The Saturday evening dances begin at 8 pm and there will be both Contra and English.
